Stansted Airport Chamber of Commerce

BAA’s Fire Service performed a spectacular water cannon salute for a retiring pilot at Stansted Airport last week.

Touching down for the final time on Friday (13th June), Thomsonfly Captain, Julien Evans, was honoured with the salute following 30 years service with the airline.

Two BAA fire engines lined up on either side of the taxiway and fired plumes of water over the Boeing 757 after it touched down from Palma, Majorca.
