Stansted Airport has rolled out new facilities for passengers with reduced mobility as part of its drive to improve passenger facilities ahead of new EU legislation (effective 26 July) that gives airport operators full responsibility for providing all services to reduced mobility passengers on the ground at airports.

Linda Sams (Price Bailey) was the lucky winner of the online competition draw held at the Manor of Groves last night.
Linda wins one night stay for two at the weekend to include Dinner, Bed & Breakfast at the Cheshunt Marriott Hotel.
The winner of the business card draw was Richard Harvey, Partner at Baker Tilly. Richard took home a bottle of Champagne kindly donated by Manor of Groves.
Ashley Riley - Head of Public Affairs at BAA Stansted - gave members an update on the latest BAA developments for Stansted Airport.
With experience of working on influential national campaigns like Make Poverty History and Jamie Olivers School Dinners Ashley took questions from the attendees.
Around 70 business men and women attended the Stansted Airport Chamber of Commerce meeting held in the lovely surroundings of the Manor of Groves.
Vistors were treated to a sumptious meal and enjoyed networking in an relaxed and informal atmosphere. Ashley mentioned the Meet the Buyers event which will be run again next year in conjunction with the Essex Chamber giving local suppliers to meet with buyers of services in and around Stansted Airport.
