With the green light just given for airport expansion at Stansted, a focus was today thrown on the opportunities that exist for jobs and skills training across over 180 companies located at the airport. With over 12,000 jobs already in place, and a further 4,000 in prospect as Stansted expands to 35m passengers a year, Regional Minister for the East of England Barbara Follett MP visited the airport to open a new Employment and Skills Academy, the first of its kind at any BAA airport. |

Radisson SAS London Stansted Airport update..... Following the recent departure of our friend and fellow member Victoria Frankland, SACC are pleased to announce that Gary Devlin, Sales and Marketing Executive will now be the face for the Radisson SAS at SACC events.  Gary Devlin, Sales & Marketing Executive - Radisson SAS Having organised a very successful Christmas party season, as well as the New Years Eve event of the year!, Gary's main responsibilities are looking after local business accounts and the hotels marketing, including all press and PR activities. He has also worked in advertising for a local newspaper and studied Film, Radio & Television at university in Canterbury, where he also spent a year as Vice President Media & Services of the Students Union. Gary said: "I am very much looking forward to becoming a the Radisson SAS Hotel's member of the Stansted Airport Chamber". |
