Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines has greatly increased the use of regional airports for its programme of fly/cruises to the Caribbean and Mediterranean in 2008/9. One of the most popular airports in the programme is Stansted and on Monday 3rd March, the first Fred. Olsen charter took off for Miami to join latest cruise ship, Balmoral, on an 11-night cruise round the islands of the Eastern Caribbean. |

Hundreds of people attended the Meet the Buyers event on the 24-25 February organised by the Essex Chambers of Commerce. This event enabled suppliers to present their goods and services to businesses in the local region. Michael Portillo entertained delegates as the guest speaker at the gala dinner at the end of the first day. Hosted at the Down Hall Country House Hotel more businesses were enabled to promote their products and services at trade show stands.  (L to R) Gethin Jones, Caroline Sutton From Swissport, Andy Akinwolere Flying with easyJet, the pair were about to fly direct to Belfast to embark on a special Blue Peter challenge to climb the UK's four tallest mountains in 48 hours. First on the list was Slieve Donard in Northern Ireland, finishing off with Ben Nevis in Scotland. |
