Ashley Riley - Head of Public Affairs at BAA Stansted - gave members an update on the latest BAA developments for Stansted Airport.

With experience of working on influential national campaigns like Make Poverty History and Jamie Olivers School Dinners Ashley took questions from the attendees.

Around 70 business men and women attended the Stansted Airport Chamber of Commerce meeting held in the lovely surroundings of the Manor of Groves.

Vistors were treated to a sumptious meal and enjoyed networking in an relaxed and informal atmosphere.  Ashley mentioned the Meet the Buyers event which will be run again next year in conjunction with the Essex Chamber giving local suppliers to meet with buyers of services in and around Stansted Airport.

Radisson Sas Hotel London Stansted Airport Launches Responsible Business Training Print E-mail

The Radisson SAS Hotel London Stansted Airport has launched a new “Responsible Business” training. Within the next 12 months, all 170 employees at the 500 bedroom hotel will attend an interactive and practical training on social, ethical and environmental responsibility, and learn how easily they can contribute to change the world – just by going to work.

“Responsible Business is an integral part of our company”, comments Caroline Kersey, Human Recourses & Training Manager, who is also one of the companies Responsible Business Master trainers.

“It is essential that all our employees understand how important their relationship to the community and environment is, and that they act accordingly, day by day. “
