Three Counties Women’s Professional Group to be re-launched

Pellys LLP announce their plans to re-launch the Three Counties Women’s Professional Group and are organising a summer BBQ on 02 July at Bonhunt Lodge. Jazz singer-songwriter Joanna Eden will be providing the live entertainment. The group was originally set up by three business women living and working in three counties – Hertfordshire, Essex and Cambridgeshire. Margaret Porter, partner and Collaborative Lawyer, Karen Broomhead, owner of Bonhunt Lodge and Jackie Crow.

The aim of the group is to do business in a friendly environment by getting to know each other in order to refer business, learn more about women-related subjects in business and give speakers an opportunity to market their services to the rest of the group. Most meetings are held at Bonhunt Lodge which is a purpose-built business facility dating back to the eighteenth century and overlooking the Quendon Estate and the eleventh century Chapel of St Helen’s, just outside Newport in Essex.

Gill Harper, Marketing Manager and Stephanie Belt, Solicitor, both from Pellys, decided that the group needed to be publicised in a more direct way so that as many business women as possible could learn about the group and have the opportunity to come along and see for themselves what it was all about. Gill said “We both believe that the group is a really good idea and it has proved to be very popular amongst women from very different walks of life and backgrounds. We have thrown down the gauntlet to invite business women from all sections of the business community.
