The annual HBBAA awards were announced at the HBAA/ITM Forum recently held at The Park Inn Heathrow. Winner of the award for Best Environmental Practice was............... .........Great Hallingbury Manor Hotel, located at Stansted Airport. Among the criteria set by the judges was the need for “evidence from applicants that shows a real commitment to sustainability and that the organisation is truly committed to reducing the environmental impact of their activities”.  Sales Manager for Great Hallingbury Manor, Peter Swinburn, receiving the award from Sue Burgess, Chairman of the HBAA Recently refurbished to a 4 Star standard, the hotel, which is just 7 minutes from the Airport terminal boasts 28 superbly designed bedrooms and 2 suites.A fine dining restaurant personally overseen by celebrity chef Anton Edelmann plus three meeting rooms enable the Hotel to cater for all sections of the business and leisure markets. |
