Here are some reflections on our first event of this nature:
I attended the most brilliant business support course for Social Media and websites last Friday (7 Aug). The tips and tweaks I've been shown in that short time have increased one of our websites substantially (200+ new likes in a weekend and sales up! yes that quick)
It was real training by professionals. Anyone who knows me will understand I'm always sceptical about business trainers, there are too many who pop up from nowhere, have very little business experience promise the world and don't get results. On the other hand, a good professional who really knows the job are invaluable. I'm seriously recommending my Friends Book in NOW.
As of 9.07am 12/8/15 likes have now reached 4387 and priority customer club coming in. Bit scary yesterday I had 7 enquiries before 7.30am! 2 of which are clubs so potentially good orders.

As a new member of the SACC, I can only speak highly of the events attended recently and the benefits to my business.
At the 'Check-in @ Stansted' Exhibition back in June this year we accrued two new customers and the ‘Meet The Neighbours’ networking lunch this introduced us to many new contacts.
But, this morning’s 'Traffic Avalanche’ event was thought provoking and engaging. As uncomfortable as it was to have our website reviewed by Terry Carney & Nick Ruddle and to be told positively what the reasons for its poor hit rates and low business returns from the site are, and publicly at that, the experience was very enlightening & strangely positive ! After all, we attend & support such events to learn new things and this morning was no exception! It was a very steep learning curve – ‘Landing pages, Call To Action, Remarketing, Bids, Lookalike Adverts etc’ – all phrases I had heard but didn’t really understand what they meant and how, with coaching, they could make a positive impact on the business.
I have no hesitation in recommending membership of the SACC to our local customers as in the short period we have been involved, it has all been very positive.
